The M4 is a Kit Carson designed knife from CRKT, in a smaller every day carry (EDC) size. The M4â„¢-02S Stag is a deluxe model with the traditional look of stag scales and brushed stainless steel bolsters.
The Carson M4 has the CRKT OutBurst® assisted opening mechanism and bronze and Teflon® bearings at the adjustable blade pivot for smooth, fast action. The dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one-hand opening and the patented LAWKS safety for a virtual fixed blade when actuated after the blade is opened and locked.
The high-hollow-grind drop point 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade is satin finished, as is the heavy-duty InterFrame, which is built true to Kit’s design, with dual stainless steel liners, one locking, and a stainless steel back spacer.
Custom knifemaker and Knifemakers’ Guild member Kit Carson is widely known for his M16® design, which is offered in many CRKT production models. Since 1990, Kit’s most consistent selling custom model has been his classic M4â„¢.
