It boasts two incredible CRKT features: CRKT’s OutBurst assisted opening system and its Fire Safe safety feature. The OutBurst assisted opening mechanism lets you get the blade into action with nothing but an intentional nudge with your thumb. The Fire Safe feature keeps the blade from opening until you push the thumb stud down, disengaging the safety; then, when you give it that nudge, click! You’re ready for work. But a blade alone is no good. The Igniter has a grippy, ergonomic G-10 handle on ridged steel liners to make using the knife a joy.
