This Hults Bruk 15″ Hatchet was created to celebrate the 325th anniversary of the establishment of the Hult’s iron and steel factory. The pattern you see here is a classic Yankee pattern that was inspired by some of the oldest axes from Hults Bruk found in a 1890s catalogue. Each color is taken from an axe from the past. The red is from the Agdor range from 1930. The green is from Swedish axes sold in the middle of the 20th century. The hatchet is wicked sharp due to repeated sharpening and it holds it sharpness very well. When it comes to its handle, it is made of Hickory wood that has been protected with linseed oil.
