The Schrade First Responder is a rescue knife for professionals and laypersons alike. The 1st Responder knife is listed as a spring assisted knife, but in our opinion it is more of an automatic. The blade is deployed by either the thumb stud (spring assist) or you can push the button on the spine of the knife and it opens automatically. Either way, this is a great knife and you can be pleased with!

This knife features a bead blast finished 4034 stainless steel blunt point blade that is partially serrated. The handle is black nylon fiber with a stainless steel liner, safety lock, glass breaker, seat belt cutter and oxygen tank opener. Includes pocket clip (tip-up).
