Vintage Microtech UMS Firefighter Automatic Knife (3.4″ Black Serrated) 05/2003

This UMS Firefighter Edition automatic knife came from a collection. It is in excellent condition and includes nylon sheath, box and papers. The blade’s front face is the rare misspelled “UMS, FIREFITHER 05/2003” around the Microtech logo and the back side has the fire-rescue logo. The pictures above are of the actual knife for sale.

The Microtech UMS (Uniformed Military Services) knife is ready for any job. It’s rugged, dependable, built like a tank and looks great to boot. The UMS features a black finished S30V blade (partially serrated) and a red anodized T-6 handle with grip-tech inserts. The knife also has a pocket clip and comes with a black nylon sheath. This knife is automatic, push the button and the blade fires out. Lock-up is Microtech solid and the action is irreproachable. The UMS features a safety on the spine of the knife so it won’t fire by accident.
